It shows how Oregon’s Fullerton IV Elementary School improved test scores by focusing on teacher training and support. The underlying themes are that “Mistakes Start New Learning” and “There’s More than One Method.” A good example of their approach is that teachers must find new and exciting ways — beyond simply putting the number 87 and a minus sign under the number 133 — to solve a routine math problem.
